First Launch of 2020!

Our service team has launched the first boat of 2020! This Sabre 48 was pulled out of our storage building and launched in Freeport. Captain Eli brought her down to Portland and can be seen in the video below docking her at our service dock in Portland! We are so excited- Spring is here and boating season is almost upon us!

Day 6 was another great run from Charleston where they departed at 6:30am to St. Augustine, FL, and arrived just before 5:30pm! That's right...Captain Eli and Sven blew through three states today making them that much closer to the ultimate destination; the Miami Boat Show. You'll note from the track that Captain Eli and Sven ran inside from Charleston until Hilton Head, SC. From here, they headed outside just before Savannah on the Savannah River. Captain Eli warns that it is an absolute must to have local knowledge when taking this particular route.

Sabre 58 Maine to Florida Day 4

Outside, the wind was blowing 25-30 knots out of the west. They made the call to hug the beach and stay close to shore giving them a little relief from the wind. This was the first day that Captain Eli and Sven had some real seas and wind to test the handling of Sabre 58 which has run fantastic in the smaller seas since it left Maine. Sea conditions were a 4-5 ft following sea and the boat performed beautifully. They were able to run around 25/26 knots the entire trip to Georgetown, SC, where they hunckered down for the night! To quote Captain Eli, "The boat ran awesome in a downwind sea!"
