Today’s journey brought Captain Eli and Yacht Broker, Brad Peer, to Bald Head Marina in North Carolina. After spending their first night aboard, they really enjoyed the large separation between staterooms and heads. They report that the Coastal Craft handled a 3-4′ chop in the bay smoothly while headed into the wind and against the tide but still maintaining 28 knots comfortably. The visibility from the flybridge as well as the lower station is great. Captain Eli had the opportunity to use the aft cockpit joystick in the lock all while enjoying the air conditioned aft cockpit while they waited for the lock yesterday. Today they had a wonderful run for most of the day. You’ll see in the pictures; glass!
