The NY Service team gave our client’s Sabre 48 an energy upgrade with solar panels this week. The two panel installation went smoothly and will provide a trickle charge for the engine battery bank. While the boat is mooring, the solar panels will continue to charge the engine bank so utilities such as the refrigerator, lights & radar can be in use without draining the battery.
Dan Loring, NY’s lead service technician, used Starboard to build custom frames for the panels, as a final finishing touch!
