Back Cove Engine Rooms

Back Cove Yachts’ are making a name for themselves when it comes to engine performance. Their engine options and strategically placed engine rooms on all four models- 34O, 372, 39O,  and 41- are sure to amaze all types of boaters.

Starting with the 34O- Back Cove’s first outboard model is equipped with Twin Suzuki 350mph engines, or with an option to upgrade to Twin Mercury Verado 400mph engines. Below the cockpit is a spacious utility area that fits the vessel’s batteries, pumps, generator and electronics, and is easily accessed through a cockpit hatch.

Back Cove 372 is powered by a single diesel Cummins or Volvo engine. The engine room is located under the main salon sole. As you enter the salon, a small switch off to the starboard side lifts the hatch in the floor up to reveal the spacious area. The electronic lift creates ease for boat owners and also comes with a handheld option in case of an emergency.

The Back Cove 39O is Back Cove’s second outboard model. This model offers triple outboard engines by Suzuki or Mercury. Below the cockpit sole is the utility room that houses an optional gyro stabilizer system, a generator, and additional storage space. The large hatch can be opened by the push of a button while standing on the swim platform.

Back Cove 41 is fitted with a single diesel Cummins or Volvo engine. Similarly to the 372, you can access the engine compartment under the salon floor. When greater access is needed the hatch in the floor raises to get the space. For quick and easy access, a day hatch located at the forward end of the cockpit floor allowing you access to the aft end of the engine room and the fuel control valves.
