Sabre 45 Pod Upgrades

DiMillo’s on the Chesapeake West, located in West River, MD, has a full time, year round service team that is always busy with neat and important projects. This week, the West River service team  completed a Propspeed project on a Sabre 45’s Volvo Pods. Originally, the pods were coated with a black bottom paint. In the process of the project, the service team chipped off the paint to then add the Propspeed. The Propspeed acts as a coating that adds more slickness to the movement of the boat in the water. After a sea trial with the Propspeed, the boat was recorded to move 2 knots faster than before with just the bottom paint!
