When it’s cold outside, there’s no better way to warm up than with a Mexican Hot Chocolate – hot cocoa with a kick!
Just a few simple ingredients, 4 cups of milk, 1 cinnamon stick, 3 Abuelito Mexican hot chocolate squares, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Combine the milk and cinnamon stick and heat until steaming. Add the chocolate squares and whisk until melted. Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients, whisk to combine. For the adults, add a subtle kick, with a pinch of cayenne pepper and a shot of spiced rum!
