As we draw nearer to the end of the 2023 boating season in the Northeast, we all look forward to spending quality time out on the water with family and friends.  Along with good company comes good food & drink to complete a perfect boating day.  Today we are sharing with you a side dish that requires little to no prep and is sure to become a favorite go-to boating recipe!

Who doesn’t love an ear of sweet corn on the cob?  All you need is a cooler (size depends on how much corn you need to make), some boiling water, and corn on the cob.  Place the shucked cobs in the cooler.  Boil enough water to cover the corn completely.  Cool the water slightly before pouring it into the cooler, since most coolers require water less than 200 degrees.  Close the lid and let the corn cook for several hours while you cruise the water.  The corn will be ready to eat by the time you’re ready to lower the anchor!
