Boating Magazine’s Kevin Falvey, had the chance to do a boat test on the MJM 35 and sums it up by saying “This boat delivers a combination of performance, efficiency and panache that is almost without comparison.” During Kevin’s boat test he found the 35 had a robust build and performed well with the power of the quiet Twin 300hp Mercury Verado outboard engines. Pleased by the helm, Falvey notes that the joystick and electronics layout are great for any captain, and with the compass still atop the helm, the modern-styled vessel still reflects classic Downeast in its design and feel. As Kevin moved below deck, where he examined the galley and appreciated the keeper rails installed on stowage shelves that inhibit items from sliding off.
