As the winter weather is creeping its way closer and closer, the service team in Glen Cove, New York is staying busy by preparing for the cold. After hauling boats and storing them on land, there is still plenty of work to be done. In the image above, you can see that the tenders are receiving their deep clean while the Sabre Yachts in the back are getting prepared for shrink wrap.

When a boat is removed from the salt water, it is imperative that they are cleaned thoroughly to eliminate any growth and algae on the bottom side. For the dinghy, the outboard motors are thoroughly cleaned as well. When it is time to shrink-wrap the boat, the vessel must be as dry as possible, then wooden framing is placed on the deck for the shrink wrap to mold to. This method is a great option off-season storing option as it shields the boat from outside exposure.
