Day 3 started off rainy, but on a postive note moving forward toward their final destination. Captain Eli and his Mate made is through Locks 3 through 10 and found it to be uneventful. Then the Sabre 48 Salon Express arrived at Lock #11 in Amsterdam, NY, to find out that the lock is broken and boats cannot go through. Even with Captain Eli’s charm they are stuck waiting for repairs. The latest update is that the lock will reopen on Saturday. Finger’s crossed!
