DiMillo’s on the Chesapeake East Featured by Plein Air Artists

The 19^th annual Plein Air Easton Art Festival, the largest plein air painting competition in the United States, commenced on July 14th. Fifty Eight competing artists from all over the country descend upon Talbot County, painting the scenery through July 23rd, to create the perfect competition piece.  The beautiful sights at our Oxford Marina, DiMillo’s on the Chesapeake East, have always made it a popular site for the Plein Air Artists to express their creativity.  This year, we spied an original oil “Harbor Colors” by Mark Fehlman, who came all the way from San Diego, CA.  We also found Jennifer Howard in the process of painting a view of the docks and, our Engine Repair Shop, the oldest building in town. It’s a great pleasure to see the varied interpretations of art focused on our Oxford location.
