After 16 years with DiMillo’s Yacht Sales, Karen Freda has retired. Based as the Office Manager in our Glen Cove, NY location, Karen has been an integral part in ensuring our New York sales and service team are operating smoothly. Upon your arrival to the New York office, you’d find Karen’s friendly smile and warm greetings instantly making you feel like family. Her vast knowledge of the new boat build process and her detail orientated nature have been a huge asset to clients who were building a new Sabre and Back Cove. In addition to new boat builds, Karen was an expert on the buying and selling process for preowned vessels making her not only a resource for our clients, but her co-workers.
Karen wrapped up her tenure at DiMillo’s in October and the NY team had the opportunity to celebrate her retirement, a few weeks ago, in Oakdale, NY. Fun fact; Karen is the first person to retire from DiMillo’s Yacht Sales which will celebrate 25 years in 2023. The celebration was an absolute treat filled with laughter and some great stories! Chart Metalworks helped us create some amazing custom jewelry so that Karen has a reminder of her time at DiMillo’s and the impact she’s had on our team.
