Captain Eli and Sven left Shinnecock Inlet in Long Island this morning with 15-20 knot winds from the west with 3′-4′ seas on the starboard beam. By the afternoon, the winds had subsided to 5 knots or less with 0′ seas; sea conditions that we dream of while cruising. What’s most impressive about today’s run is that they arrived in Norfolk, VA before the sunset! That 12.5 hours covering 320 NM! The Sabre 58 ran at 26 knots all day long!
Please enjoy a few views from their approach to Norfolk just before the sun went down.
