DESCRIPTIONS

Different Is Good

Transpac Eagle 40 trawlers are highly regarded for their fit and finish with a full varnished Burmese Teak interior with varnished teak and holly soles throughout.  With her 6 opening ports, 3 large hatches and numerous fixed and sliding windows (all opening ports and hatches and sliding windows have screens) provide copious amounts of natural light and ventilation.  When cruising during cooler seasons a Webasto diesel cabin heat system (2014) has been fitted with outlets fore and aft.  Extensive 12 volt lighting with numerous overhead dome style lamps and some swivel style reading lamps.  Headroom is 6'-4" in the salon, 6'-8" in the pilothouse and 6'-6" in the stateroom.

Starting forward is the Private Stateroom featuring a true island queen berth of 6'-8" length by 60" width.  The berth was fitted with a new latex mattress in 2014.  The foot of the berth and mattress is hinged to access substantial storage beneath and forward, also below the berth are two large "cargo" drawers and a locker.  Additional storage is to be found in a large locker with shelves and smaller locker to starboard and a bureau with several drawers and a hanging locker to port.

The large Head is aft and to starboard with athwartships running vanity with laminate type counter top and stainless steel sink with H&C pressure water, generous storage in 3 lockers and electric W.C. plumbed via a Y valve to the holding tank.  Opposite to port is the separate Stall Shower Compartment with an outboard teak seat and drains to a separate sump.

Up 4 steps to the Pilothouse featuring helm station with all navionics and vessel controls to starboard and  6'-4" bench seat and pedestal table aft and to port.  An autopilot remote hangs at the end of the bench seat. There are access doors to the side decks P&S.  Forward and to port is a large navigation area for charts and flip top type access to chart storage.  Aft and to starboard is a bureau with locker and drawer as well as a book rack.

Down 3 steps to the Salon & Galleyimmediately to port is the u-shaped Galley with laminate type counter surfaces, large deep double basin stainless steel sink with pressure H&C water and manual fresh water.  Below there is storage in a large locker and four large drawers.  Additional storage is found along the forward bulkhead in dish racks and drawers.  There is also a large cavity set up for a microwave which conveys with the vessel though the current owners had not used and so removed and use that space for yet more storage.  The 3 burner gimbaled propane stove with oven is outboard.  Opposite to starboard is a pantry cupboard with several shelves and the Norcold dual voltage refrigerator freezer.

Immediately adjoining the Galley is the Salon with double pedestal high low table and 6'-2" by 6' L-shaped settee with storage under.  The pedestal table can be lowered to berth height when desired.  An additional locker is outboard and forward.  Opposite to starboard is a 6'-4" straight settee with storage under.  At the forward end there is entertainment equipment.

A door just to starboard of c/l provides access from the salon to the aft deck.
