(SOLD) 1977 Dyer 29 Down East Hard Top

The Dyer 29 is a legendary boat, often referred to as the "Original Picnic Boat" and claims the right of the longest running production model in history of US boatbuilding. Even after more than four decades in production, the Dyer 29 is in greater demand than ever, and is considered one of the most handsome small boats ever built.

The popularity of the 29 is due to her classic looks and timeless hull form, combined with a large open cockpit. The lobster style semi-displacement design allows a smooth ride. The fine bow with it's sharp entry allows the boat to sit through a chop and big boat wakes effortlessly. The round chine and narrow stern makes her controllable in a following sea.

The Dyer 29 is known for it's sea kindly behavior.
