The Hunt 72 is a yacht of refined speed, space and comfort. Featuring the legendary performance of the authentic Hunt Deep-V, the ride is smooth, stable and dry even when conditions grow challenging. Exceptional design delivers 30 knot speed and economical cruising around 22-25 knots. The luxurious layout features three spacious staterooms, expansive salon, gourmet galley and an extended flybridge. Hunt is well established as a seaworthy, stylish and luxurious brand, and the 72 is right in line with her forbearers. It should come as no surprise that the Hunt 72 won “Best New Powerboat” at the 2016 Newport International Boat Show. Her deep-V hull delivers a smooth, dry and responsive ride in most any sea conditions the recreational boater might encounter. The focus of the Hunt 72 is performance with a relatively slender 19’-6” beam and full dead rise. Engines are aft utilizing remotely mounted v-drive transmissions with fuel over the center of buoyancy for best weight distribution and minimum trim change. This boat is capable of going to sea when lesser boats stay in harbor.
A three-stateroom layout down below including huge full beam amidship master ensures that everyone has enough space and privacy for longer jaunts. The well-appointed Mahogany salon with Galley up is impressive when entering the boat. The lower station is adjacent to the internal flybridge access stairway for convenience. Plus there is crew quarters with two bunks, head w/ shower and engine room access.
The flybridge has expansive space for entertaining including seating, lounge, grill and refrigerator. There is a full helm station as well which provides exceptional visibility offshore.
