(SOLD) 2004 Landing School Arundel 27 | $97,000
Halcyon turns heads everywhere she goes given she is a true downeast, Maine built boat. Built in Arundel, Maine, these timeless and rare boats (only 10 ever built) are a sought after piece of Maine boat building history.
Halcyon has been meticulously maintained by the original owner for the past 17 years. She has been gently used for summer cruises to the beach totally only 145 hours on the original engine.
Lots of recent work has been done to make Halcyon look and run her best. All engine and drive services were done in spring of 2024. Her hull, boot stripe and non-skid were painted in 2024. Along with new paint, the interior and exterior varnish has been stripped and re-varnished over the winter of 2023/2024. A brand new awning was installed in 2022.
The Arundel 27, designed to the highest standards by Steve Dalzell, is a handsome day-tripper. Her traditional appearance is the result of cold-molded construction with WEST SYSTEM® Epoxy. Laminated layers of marine plywood and Western Red Cedar form the hull, and the transom is built with mahogany. This construction makes the hull stiffer than fiberglass boats but just as easily maintained.
The power is provided by a fuel-efficient, quiet, freshwater-cooled diesel with the lowest emissions in the industry. This boat cruises up to 30 knots and features a hull design that allows owners to safely access shallow waters.
