Yacht Broker, Peter Ouellette, hailing from our Portland, Maine, location has spent the last few days aboard this brand new Sabre 42 Salon Express which is making it maiden voyage from the east coast of Florida to the west coast. Peter met his clients in Jupiter, Florida, at the office of Down East Yachting, our friends and fellow Sabre dealers. From Jupiter, they headed up to Stuart to begin their journey across the state through the Okeechobee Water Way. For those who are unfamiliar, this trip spans from St. Lucie to Fort Myers with a series of 5 locks and Lake Okeechobee itself. It is roughly 154 miles. Peter and his clients have been kind enough to share photos along the way and you can see them below. One notable sight for local folks in Portland was the Becky’s Diner sticker along the side of one of the locks. A big congratulations to the new owners of this Sabre 42 Salon Express who are now two time Sabre Yachts owners and one time Back Cove owners!!
