EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: JOSH DEAN
Josh Dean joined the DiMillo’s team in 2026 as the Service Manager of our new location in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Fun fact, Josh worked at the Old Lyme Marina for many years before rejoining with DiMillo’s Old Lyme!
Josh’s marine career started over 30 years ago at Old Lyme Marina, where he learned the value of attention to detail through hands-on service work, from bottom painting to engine rebuilds. Over the years, he continued to grow his technical knowledge and leadership experience, including time as Mechanical Foreman at Essex Boat Works and 11 years running his own yacht management and mechanical services business.
With certifications from Yanmar, Westerbeke, Volvo Penta, and ABYC electrical systems, Josh brings deep experience to the Old Lyme team. Outside of work, he enjoys cruising the Connecticut River and Long Island Sound with his family, staying closely connected to the boating lifestyle our customers love.
