DiMillo’s Yacht Sales Acquires Hunt Yachts
PORTLAND, MAINE– March 24, 2026 — DiMillo’s Yacht Sales, today, proudly announces its acquisition of key strategic assets of Hunt Yachts, LLC, from Hinckley. This milestone represents a significant evolution for DiMillo’s. It re-enforces their commitment to representing timeless, high-performance yacht brands, while welcoming the family of Hunt Yachts owners to join the DiMillo’s Experience.
Through this acquisition, DiMillo’s Yacht Sales has secured an exclusive license with Ray Hunt Design, the legendary naval architecture firm behind the iconic deep-V hull, to use the Hunt brand name in production boatbuilding. The boats will be offered to the global market under the banner of Hunt Yachts by DiMillo’s. This partnership ensures that Hunt Yachts by DiMillo’s will continue the brand’s legacy of delivering boats with superior ride quality, exceptional craftsmanship, and world class design, as well as further cementing DiMillo’s reputation as experts in the “blue boat” business.
The Hunt Yachts Ocean Series, available in both flybridge and express configurations, includes models from 56 to 76 feet. Each is skillfully constructed by the experienced craftsmen at Global Yacht Builders in Taiwan. GYB has exclusively built the Ocean Series since 2008. Currently, there are two 56’ Flybridges and one 63’ Flybridge in construction. This motoryacht range will complement DiMillo’s distinguished portfolio of premium brands, including Sabre Yachts, Back Cove Yachts, Tiara Yachts, and MJM Yachts.
