Founded in 1972, the Marine Trades Association of Maryland (MTAM) unites marine businesses and professionals who share a commitment to boating, workforce development, and the long-term health of our waterways. Through strategic advocacy, industry education, and hands-on career initiatives, MTAM plays a vital role in securing a strong and sustainable future for Maryland’s marine trades. The association also leads important environmental efforts—like the shrink wrap recycling program we proudly participate in—to help reduce our industry’s impact on the Chesapeake Bay and beyond.
