Back Cove is known for their skillfully designed boats with expert performance. Their Downeast style yachts not only have appealing, classic looks but also hold value in being practical cruising vessels. In recent years as development has advanced at the Back Cove Factory, the design team created a new hull for their 34O and 39O models. Their new Trailing Edge Lifting Surface (TRELIS) Ⓓ design is used to enhance performance and handling with their outboard-powered models. This redesign of the hull geometry not only optimizes the boat’s ability on the water but also makes for a more comfortable and secure ride. The new hull design also allows the boats to get on plane faster and cruise at a faster pace. The TRELIS Ⓓ design and either triple or double outboards at the stern, the Back Cove 34O and 39O are truly in a league of their own.
