Jim McAuliffe is our Freeport, Maine yacht broker. He specializes in Sabre Yachts, Back Cove Yachts, and a variety of brokerage boats. Jim was born in Vermont and raised in New Hampshire, and enjoyed many summers at the family vacation home in East Boothbay Harbor, Maine. That is where his love of sailing and powerboats originated. In 1997, Jim relocated to Portland, Maine to be closer to the water and other activities. He had imagined a position in sales where he could spend more time being active and outdoors. In 2006, Jim left his career as a surgical sales representative, and gladly accepted a position as a yacht broker with Dimillo’s Yacht Sales. Jim used to spend his days in an operating room, and now gets to spend days with his clients outside and on the water. Jim is particularly passionate about all things motorized, and utilizes this to help his clients discover the right boat outfitted for their specific needs.
