Randi Drake

I grew up in Maine, spending a few years in Atlanta, Georgia before deciding to come back home to the ocean and my family.  Since returning home, I got married and started a small homestead farm with my husband. Being in tune with nature and learning how to be self sufficient are extremely important to me, and both play a big part in how I live my life. During my off time, I spend time cultivating my farm, taking care of my critters, foraging, fishing, and learning everything I can about farming in a way that is beneficial to the earth.
My free time is always packed with activities like; fishing, kayaking,  playing with my dogs, making homemade goods like hot sauce,  bread, and jams, mushroom hunting,  and tending our garden. But more than anything,  I love being in this part of Maine, and so close to the ocean that plays a huge role in everything my husband and I do together.
