Amber Whynot

I was born in Mexico, and raised in Southern California. It was there that I met my husband, who was in the Navy. Our frequent relocations, ensured that my career path was far from ordinary.

One of my most exciting roles was as a teller supervisor in Italy. It was a whirlwind experience, especially since I got to help launch the branch!

After our Sicilian adventure, I transitioned to roles within the school district in both San Diego and Maine. Most recently, I contributed to the establishment of a flagship store for a local wholesale/retail company, infusing my gift for merchandising, and creative flair into enhancing the customer experience.

My husband and I, along with our two sons, moved to Maine in 2013, marking our longest stay in one house in our 27 years of marriage.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring Casco Bay on our 22’ Grady White, with our dog in tow. I enjoy listening to live music, long walks, hiking, reading, photography, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Boat ownership is a new chapter for me, but the sea has always been a big part of my life. I’m beyond excited to join the Dimillo’s Marina crew as the new Marina Office Assistant, buyer, and Social Media Content Creator. Here’s to new adventures and smooth sailing!
