Captain Ryan Dierks and Yacht Broker Brad Peer, from DiMillo’s Yacht Sales in West River, Maryland, encountered 8-10′ rollers coming out of the channel in Beaufort yesterday onboard the Sabre 54 Flybridge. They are hugging the beach a mile offshore because of the westerly wind. They ran at 23 knots in a light chop and 5′ rollers and made it Charleston last night. Both men are even more impressed with the Sabre’s handling following this leg of the journey.
