(SOLD) 2001 Hinckley Picnic Boat

Newest addition to our family of fine vessels, this impeccable 36 Hinckley Picnic Boat features a lightweight, high technology structure and power plant, a Hamilton waterjet and a Bruce King designed low drag hull shape. The result is a craft that is truly striking in appearance and which has a level level of performance and efficiency unequalled in any boat size. With its 18" draft, it can venture into the shallowest of waters. it is smooth riding, dry and seaworthy in the open ocean. Because its Kevlar structure is so light is so incredibly light, it is able to achieve a top speed of 30kts with a single 420hp Yanamr diesel engine. At her 26 knot cruise speed, she burns only 12 gallons per hour. We know of no other jet boat her size that matches this efficiency. Most Importantly this boat is fun. Because of its light weight and jet propulsion, it can be handled like a big jet ski with high speed skidding turns and spin-outs. Throughout these maneuvers the boat is safe and predictable. Yet, driven in a more sedate manner, she is a mobile patio with comfortable seating for a dozen or more people, well suited for cocktail cruises, exploring and picnics. With its large cockpit and shallow draft it is also an excellent fishing and diving boat.
