Gabe Staiano

Raised on the north shore of Long Island, I grew up sailing at the Water Front Center in Oyster Bay. Once I was eligible at 10 years old to take my boaters safety course, I took it. Fishing and being out on the water started becoming more and more part of my life.

I started my career in the industry in high school as a dock hand for Freedom Boat Club. Bought my first boat at 17 years old, growing a passion then for the mechanical and electrical side of boats. After graduating high school in 2021, I took my first job in the boating industry as a mechanic on outboards. Growing my knowledge over the years, traveling all over the Island working on various types of boats, there’s truly no other industry I’d rather work in.

I came to DiMillo’s Yacht Sales in May of 2025 looking to broaden my skills and knowledge. Falling in love with the boats we sell and work on, I look forward to each day getting the opportunity to work on such amazing vessels.

During my off time I enjoy being outdoors, fishing and being out on the water as much as I can.
