Powered by twin Caterpillar 3196 8-cylinder turbo diesel engines connected to Twin Disc gears.  These engines went through a very extensive service and overhaul in summer of 2020.  The engines are fully up to date with service and we have the service records of the overhaul on request.  This boat runs great with a very clean engine room.

Electrical

Vessels system is 12/24-volt with 115/220-volt shore power.  Circuit protection is by panel with breaker switches for both systems along with vapor tight battery switches.  All wiring found in good condition and properly secured.  Six 8D heavy duty 12-volt batteries are provided along with one 12-volt for generator start.  All batteries found properly secured in acid proof containers with vented covers.  Battery charging is by alternators on engines and Pro Marine 40 amp battery charger #A049114. Second charger is a Pro Marine 12 amp #A015046. Iso boost is a Charles 50 amp #E183633. Navigation lights meet International Motor Boat Act requirements. Auxiliary power is furnished by a Westerbeke 10 kW diesel generator.  Cooling is by fresh water.  Generator serial #33786 and generator engine #26813D811.  Hours on unit are 2955 approximately.  Generator was operational at this time.  Exhaust is rubber through fiberglass waterlift muffler.
