Sabre 58 Engine Room Sneak Peak

From the platform on centerline, look both port and starboard and you have a clear view of the twin Volvo D11 725hp engines and the Volvo IPS 950 propulsion systems. You'll also find the racor filters extremely accessible just fwd of the engines on both the port and starboard outboard bulkhead. The 21.5kW Onan generator sits centerline aft and the optional Seakeeper 16 is centerline fwd. As you look to the port fwd corner, you'll find all of the air conditioning condensers neatly organized and easily accessible. Finally, you'll find your main breaker panel on the fwd bulkhead of the engine room, neatly labeled and organized.

Sabre 58 Maine to Florida Day 4

Outside, the wind was blowing 25-30 knots out of the west. They made the call to hug the beach and stay close to shore giving them a little relief from the wind. This was the first day that Captain Eli and Sven had some real seas and wind to test the handling of Sabre 58 which has run fantastic in the smaller seas since it left Maine. Sea conditions were a 4-5 ft following sea and the boat performed beautifully. They were able to run around 25/26 knots the entire trip to Georgetown, SC, where they hunckered down for the night! To quote Captain Eli, "The boat ran awesome in a downwind sea!"

Yacht broker Bradley Peer, accompanied his clients on their brand new 2019 Back Cove 41, on their maiden voyage from Portland, Maine to their home port of Broadkill Beach, Delaware. They left Maine bright and early this morning and got to enjoy the sunrise while they passed one of Maine's historic lighthouses known as Portland Head LIght!

It was the first launch and maiden voyage for Back Cove 32 Hull #39 on the West River in Maryland! She spent the weekend on display at the Baltimore Boat Show and is now at our DiMillo's on the Chesapeake location until someone swipes her up! She sure is pretty!
