Jerome joined the service team as a Detailer at our Oxford location, DiMillo’s on the Chesapeake East earlier this year. Jerome was born in Baltimore, Maryland. His mother was a Caroline County Teacher. His father owned a landscaping company and was a self-taught chef who also ran a successful catering company. Jerome always had a love for the outdoors and for boats, since he grew up on the Choptank River in Denton, Maryland. Around the age of twelve, he discovered his passion for cooking and began learning the process of farm to table preparation. The first twenty years of Jerome’s career were spent as a chef, working in many establishments on the Eastern Shore. About two years ago, he decided to re-visit his childhood love of boats and changed his career path to work in the marine industry. Since joining DiMillo’s, Jerome has found a new passion in detailing boats, and is excited to continue learning and growing with DiMillo’s in the future.
