Meet Hollister, Marine Service Administrator, who works out of our Portland, Maine location. Hollister joined DiMillo’s in 2022 and comes with a wealth of knowledge of the boating industry!

Growing up on the coast of Maine, Hollister gained her love of the water at a young age. Sailing is where it all started for her… she started by racing at the Portland Yacht Club in Falmouth, and continued to race through high school at Sail Maine. During her college years she raced at Oakcliff Sailing Center in Oyster Bay, NY.  Hollister graduated from Maine Maritime Academy in 2015 with a bachelor of science in marine transportation and an associate’s degree in business, with a 1600-ton mates license.

Hollister moved to Houston, Texas right out of school to work for G&H Towing in one of the busiest ports in the US. She began working on conventional twin screw tugs and then shifting to work on z-drive tugboats. Following this position, Hollister accepted a mate position at Moran Towing in Miami, Florida where she gained experience and management skills to eventually move into a captains position. By 26, Hollister was the captain of a 6,000 horsepower Z-drive tugboat, becoming one of Moran’s youngest captains!

After spending five years on tugboats, Hollister shifted her work to the shoreside in the yacht sales service industry and accepted a position with DiMillo’s service team in Portland, Maine. When not at work, Hollister enjoys exploring the coast of Maine with her husband and daughter!  To learn more about Hollister, click here.
